Madi Prewett Opens Up About Husband Grant Troutts Transformation

Madi Prewett, known for her appearance on “The Bachelor,” has recently shared intimate insights regarding her husband Grant Troutt’s significant personal transformation, particularly in relation to their views on sexuality before marriage. In a candid episode of her podcast “Stay True,” Prewett discussed her and Grant’s differing experiences with sex and intimacy, shedding light on how these experiences shaped their relationship.

Prewett, 29, reflected on her past struggles with pornography and masturbation, admitting that she often justified her actions by convincing herself that since she wasn’t engaging in sexual intercourse with her boyfriend, it was acceptable. “That was where I fell. I struggled and I believed that lie. That lie led to a life of bondage,” she revealed, demonstrating the internal conflict she faced before marrying Troutt.

In contrast, Grant had a different background; he had experienced sexual relationships prior to their marriage. Prewett explained, “Grant fell into the other category that kinda felt like, ‘Well I already had sex, what’s the big deal? It’s already a part of my story. It’s already a part of my life.’” This mindset posed challenges for him as he navigated their commitment to a life of purity.

Throughout the podcast, Prewett emphasized her belief that one’s past does not dictate their future, especially when it comes to personal growth and redemption. She expressed gratitude for Grant’s “radical transformation” after he embraced a faith-based lifestyle. “I am so thankful that when Grant had a radical transformation with Jesus, and when he started bringing accountability into his life and he chose to pursue a lifestyle of purity,” she said. Prewett acknowledged that although Grant was not perfect and had moments of struggle, his commitment to seeking purity ultimately strengthened their bond.

The couple, who tied the knot in October 2022 after a whirlwind romance, has been navigating the ups and downs of married life together. Prewett shared that learning to communicate effectively has been a key part of their relationship. “When we first got married, I think I expected him to just know all of my needs and desires, and that was very unfair to him,” she noted, highlighting the importance of open dialogue in their marriage.

Their journey as a couple has been filled with joy and challenges, and they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Hosanna Rose Troutt, in January 2025. The couple shared their excitement on social media, posting a heartfelt announcement alongside photos of their newborn.

Prewett’s reflections on her marriage and Grant’s transformation resonate with many fans who have followed her journey since her time on “The Bachelor.” She continues to inspire others by openly discussing the complexities of relationships and the importance of personal growth, accountability, and faith.

As they settle into their new roles as parents, Prewett and Troutt are committed to supporting each other and nurturing their family. With their strong foundation built on mutual respect and understanding, they are ready to embrace the adventures that lie ahead.
