Suleman, who gained notoriety after giving birth to octuplets in January 2009, has been an open book about her parenting journey. In an interview with Us Weekly, she explained her budgeting strategies, emphasizing the importance of healthy eating. “We find a lot of things on sale. I budget really well, and we all eat very, very healthfully,” she stated. She revealed that her grocery bills can reach up to $5,000 a month, depending on the family’s needs.
Despite the challenges, Suleman remains committed to her children and their well-being. “It’s food, rent, bills and repeat. They grow, and then the food they need grows as well. In the beginning, I wasn’t spending a quarter of that. Now it’s more,” she shared, illustrating the ever-evolving demands of motherhood.
