Coming from a modest background, Lee was cautious with his newfound wealth. “It’s kind of how someone feels when they win the lottery,” he said. “I don’t really get a buzz from spending. If I spend money on something that I think can make more money one day, then I get a buzz, but I don’t like buying something that I know is just going to lose its value the second I walk out the room.” Since his YouTube days, Lee has transitioned into the business world, launching multiple ventures and a venture capital fund, both of which have also proven to be lucrative.
